How to install this product
Install the drain body in the supporting assembly and connect it to the existing drainage system.
Then install the sound insulation or heat insulation if required.
Remove the protective lid and cut the bonding flange to size to match the height of the floor assembly.
If using a Schluter preformed shower tray firmly insert the bonding flange into the drain body so the perforated bonding flange sits flush into the tray.
If installing into a screed the perforated bonding flange should be flush with the upper edge of the screed.
Adhere the Kerdi collar with Kerdi Coll sealing adhesive to create a waterproof transition to the screed.
Next install the rest of your waterproofing with a sufficient overlap of the collar.
If DITRA is used as waterproofing membrane, install it up to the perforated edge of the flange.
Then embed the Kerdi collar which overlaps the DITRA membrane.
Use Kerdi Coll sealing adhesive to attach the Kerdi collar.
You can now install your tiles
During tiling adjust the height of the grate so it is flush with the covering surface.
