Preparation:
Mix a 20 kg bag of MapePave Slurry with 6.4 litres of water for at least 5 minutes with a Mechanical mixer and paddle.
The mix must be applied to the sand cement bed fresh on fresh and should also be applied to the rear of the paver.
Installation:
Bases must be constructed with stability and not prone to settlement.
A type 1 intallation compacted by mechanical means at a minimum depth of 100mm with restraint should provide a suitable base for your sand cement bed in non vehicle trafficed areas.
To get perfect adhesion between the Porcelain Paver and the sand cement bed, spread the MapePave Slurry while the bed is still fresh (fresh on fresh technique).
Ensure surface is protected from rain or wash out until fully cured.
Joints can be grouted after 24 hours.
Do not install in temperatures lower than +5°C.
