Marmox Tileable Basins are preconstructed tileable basins made from the same material as Marmox Multiboard Tile Backer Board comprised of an extruded polystyrene core coated on either side with a thin but robust layer of fibreglass reinforced polymer concrete. They provide a simple, reliable way to create bespoke tiled wash basins for bathrooms, wetrooms and wash areas. They are 100% waterproof and ready to receive tiles directly.

Each basin measures 770 × 485 × 100 mm and features steel support bracket bars that connect securely to the wall, ensuring stability and easy installation. These bracket bars are supplied complete with fixing and wall plugs.

Unlike traditional ceramic basins, Marmox Tileable Basins are designed to be fully tiled, allowing you to match surrounding walls, floors or feature finishes for a seamless look. Whether you’re working on a residential bathroom or a commercial washroom project, they give you the flexibility to create a truly integrated design.

Marmox Tileable Basins are available in 3 configurations:

• Linear Drain (features a linear drain with a brushed stainless steel channel cover.)
• Infinity Drain (features a hidden waste channel concealed beneath the tiles for a seamless finish. Leaving only a pencil-thin gap between the tiles, allowing the water to drain away effectively.)
• Push Plug Drain (A simple, elegant square basin designed to be tiled for a discreet finish that blends into the surrounding wall or vanity. The push plug waste offers a neat, practical solution, making it ideal for both residential and commercial settings.)

Also available to complement the basins are a matt black or chrome bottle trap for a decorative, visually appealing connection of the drainage trap to the plumbing pipework in the exposed area underneath the basin. The push plug trap is required for all basins to provide a connection to the bottle trap, with the top plug cover not installed in order to fit the trap under the linear cover/tile if using it with the linear drain and infinity drain basins.
